This policy outlines how we handle the personal information you provide to us to facilitate our floral design and concierge services. By using our website and services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide a bespoke experience, we collect distinct types of data:

Account Information: Name, email address, and encrypted password.

Concierge Data: Dates you add to your registry (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries), floral preferences, and allergy information you voluntarily provide to your profile.

Recipient Data: Names, addresses, and phone numbers of the individuals you send flowers to (your "Address Book").

Payment Information: We do not store full credit card numbers. All transactions are processed securely through our payment provider (Square), which provides us with a tokenized ID to facilitate future transactions if you choose to save your card.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Process and deliver your orders.
• Send you "Concierge Reminders" for dates you have added to your registry.
• Customize floral designs based on the preferences saved in your Floral Profile.
• Communicate with you regarding order status or customer service inquiries.
• Send marketing communications (newsletters), which you may opt out of at any time.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We never sell your data. We share data only with partners required to fulfill our service:

• Payment Processors: Square (for secure billing).
• Logistics: Third-party couriers (UPS, local drivers) strictly for the purpose of delivery.
• Marketing & Hosting: Our website hosting and email service providers (e.g., Drupal, Email Platform) solely for managing our own communications with you.

5. Data Retention

We retain your Account and Concierge Data for as long as your account is active. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data (including your Address Book and Date Registry) at any time directly through your Account Settings. Please note that for tax and legal compliance, we retain records of completed transactions (Order Invoices) for the period required by Canadian tax law, even after account deletion.
